NEW MILFORD -- A 13-year-old male student was arrested Friday at Schaghticoke Middle School for allegedly posting a threat toward a school administrator on Facebook, police said.
A call was made by the school to the New Milford Police Department at 10:11 a.m. Friday, stating concern over a Facebook posting. At 12:53 p.m., the arrest of the teenager was made at the school, according to the police log. The 13-year-old was issued a disorderly conduct juvenile summons and released to his parents' custody, police said.
Superintendent of Schools JeanAnn Paddyfote said Saturday that due to the fact that the incident involved a minor, she could not comment. Police did not release the name of the boy because of his age.
